“The only guarantee to stay relevant as a creative is being a world-builder” ~ Mars Dorian
DEMONS EAT CONCRETE is a sci-fi fantasy world-building story project about flawed souls trying to survive, and maybe even thrive, in Limbo.
A European mega-city infested by a growing demonic presence that transforms its citizens into…well, you got to read the story to find out 🙂
Major inspirations include:
– games like Devil May Cry and Resident Evil
– Signalis (German anime-style indie horror game)
– art like early Tim Burton and Nihei‘s Blame/Aposimz/Knights of Sidonia
– manga/animes like Dorohedoro and Chainsaw Man
Every comic, illustration, lore piece and character profile is part of a larger universe. Some stories are loud and explosive. Others are small moments of a main character battling his futanari porn addiction. Together they form a growing archive of life inside Limbo City.DEMONS EAT CONCRETE
is created by Berlin-based illustrator and storyteller Mars Dorian, and blends manga, street art, indie games, and urban fantasy/dystopian science fiction into a world that is equal parts dark, absurd, and strangely hopeful.
The philosophy behind the project is simple: Find agency in Chaos.
